No one knows the future. Therefore, faith is required in making a decision in regards to the future. This is a universal truth. Those of us who are married, we married our spouse in faith trusting that he or she will continue to be that person who was kind, loving, respectful and responsible when we were dating. Those of us who have children, we raise them in faith hoping that they will turn out to be the kind of people that we envision and desire them to be. Those of us who start a business, we do it in faith that one day it will turn out to be a great success.

Ever since Pastor Sam has decided to resign from youth ministry effective June 30, both Pastor Lee and I thought a lot about whom we should hire as our next youth pastor. It is not that easy to find a good youth pastor. And for our church, it is even more difficult because of the unique situation and ministry we are in and do. Since we are doing youth ministry together with the KSC and it is extremely essential for the youth pastor to fully be able to communicate with the parents to have an effective ministry, we have to find someone who is bilingual. Moreover, this person ...

I have been made aware that some of you, especially those who have children in our youth group or whose children will eventually be in it, are currently talking about our relationship with the KSC. You are wondering why we are staying and doing youth ministry together with them when we have the means and resources to do it separately. Since New Life began about 20 years ago with just about 20 plus people but now has more than 400 members, it's good to review the history and remind ourselves of the goals and values that are important to us.
Let me share with you several ...

As I shared with you during my message last Sunday, I am very thankful that many of you served in various ways to make this year's House Church Seminar for Pastors a great success. Without you, this couldn't have been possible. So, thank you. I pray that God's abundant blessings will be upon you, your family and work.
God has called us to become a resource church to help other churches that want to learn how to build and restore their churches in the spirit of the New Testament through house church ministry. This is a tremendous blessing and privilege. Not that many ...

Pastor Tae has been with us for more than nine years as our Missions Pastor, so we will miss him greatly and feel a tremendous vacuum when the Pae family leaves.
There are a couple of reasons why he is resigning and moving on from New Life Fellowship. First is God's calling. Pastor Tae came to New Life after experiencing much bitter conflict, confusion and lack of direction in local churches. At one point, he served as a lead pastor for an English speaking congregation in Virginia for a few years. He wanted to reach out to unchurched unbelievers, whom we call VIPs, to ...

I didn't get a permission to write about her. I trust it is okay. If not, I deeply apologize to her family. It is about Joyce Kim's mother who passed away last Sunday. Joyce came to New Life a few years ago from another church in Houston where there was basically no English speaking ministry. When she joined us, she served faithfully in our youth group, invited her friends persistently to her house church and helped them to be saved by bringing them to Receiving Jesus Meeting. During the brief time I got to know her, I sensed that there was a deep respect and appreciation ...

Let's pray for the upcoming House Church Seminar for Lay Leaders which will be from October 9 to 11. We initially planned to host 30 participants. However, more than 30 church leaders went through the registration process in less than two weeks since we opened up the online registration. Therefore, we felt the need to receive more participants than we originally anticipated. Now, we have 46 church leaders who will be coming to this year's lay leaders' seminar. This is the biggest number so far. But I pray that the number will continue to grow so that we can help and serve ...
