Whatever you did for one of the least…

Jesus said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40) If you have a heart to serve special needs children and you can make a weekly commitment, you have an opportunity to live this verse out right here at SBC.

The children’s ministry is looking for volunteers who will regularly serve as assistants for their special needs children. Many of these special needs children have been diagnosed with autism, which requires a lot of individual attention and love. The ideal candidate is someone who has had “CIA” experience at Camp Barnabas pretty recently, but if you have the heart and availability, any one of you is welcome to serve the Kingdom this way.

I’ve heard so many great testimonies and stories from this summer’s Camp Barnabas trip. If you went this year, you might still be unwrapping all that God wanted you to learn through that experience. I believe that God is giving you an incredible chance to apply all of those lessons He taught you while serving there.

If you are willing to commit yourself to serving our own special needs children, sign up at the front table and Mrs. Paick will get in touch with you. Don’t miss this opportunity to serve Christ by serving your younger brothers and sisters in Christ!
