Sang Chon has been a member of New Life Fellowship for 15 years and has been an adult shepherd for 10 years. Sang also lived in China for 4.5 years. Sang and his wife Justy will be celebrating their 15 years of marriage in January 2020! Sang and Justy have 2 children: Eli (11) and Gracie (6). Sang worked for Texas Instruments in semiconductor design and marketing for 20 years and in June of this year, he joined New Life as the college pastor. Sang has started his seminary degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary but has been a Bible nerd ever since college.
Mia Yoo is New Life’s Children’s Pastor. She is married to Joe Yoo, who is a House Church Shepherd, Village Leader, and Town Leader. She loves serving together with her husband and 2 children, Sarah age 11 and Joey age 10. They are a family on God’s mission together. She has been a member of New Life for 19 years and has spent 17 of those years serving as a house church shepherd. Her passion is Jesus, God’s Word, and making disciples for Christ. She served in full-time ministry as the VP of Inspire Women for 14 years, producing citywide conferences, raising funds for scholarships for biblical training, and creating programs that train women for ministry. She also has an MBA and management experience in Corporate America prior to being called into full-time ministry. In her spare time, she dates her husband, spends time with people, reads God books, and cuddles with her children.
